The BBBC 2010

What is 'The BBBC 2010' you ask. Alicia Chenaux posted The Big Bad Bloggers Challenge 2010 on her blog, and who am I to pass up a challenge. I was supposed to be using this blog for a 'picture' a day but what with RL having it's annoying habit of interfering I have been rather slack in that venture. So this is going to kick start me back into doing it again. With this challenge taking a week to complete I will aim to post a picture with each day I answer the bloggers challenge questions. And after the BBBC - well I will be on my own challenge to keep up the posting of pics from around SL.

So here goes............

Today's Topic: Why did you become a blogger? How has it enriched your life?

Becomming a blogger is not something I thought I would ever do. I may have the gift of the gab and be able to talk under water with a mouthful of wet cement and marbles, but I never saw myself as the 'writing it all down and sharing it' type of person. That was until I was introduced to a dear friend of mine, Marnix.

You know the first time you meet someone in SL - you check out their profile, read about them to see if there is any conversation starters in there, check out their pics to see if you have things in common etc. Well I did just that and friends also told me about his blog. Being the curious ....maybe stalker type.....person that I was, I went and checked out his blog. Now I may be the odd one out here, but I went to the oldest post first. I wanted to read from start to finish to see what made this guy tick. See how he had grown, or not, during his time in SL. And while sitting there reading I found myself cracking up laughing at his strange rantings, trend followings, chicken escapades and rather interesting dress sense.

Press fast forward and jump a few months down the track I got the nerve to start my own blog. It was after talking to him one night that I decided to show the SL World that I could be a blogger. I looked around and blog hosting sites, found layouts to mix and match to my style, I got caught up in the moment of "OMG I'm now a blogger". I then sat back and stared at my screen thinking to myself "So what now?" That answers my 'Why'...I was inspired by someone that was just as much an everyday, down to earth, comedian in their own mind as I was. If he could do it, why couldn't I?

That was around November last year. I have changed blogs since then and started second ones, helped manage others and been an avid reader of many of my friends blogs. I still don't class myself as 'a blogger'. I have a blog - sure. I write my thoughts, ramblings, shopping finds - when I remember. But I'm still just Rors. I don't think being a blogger has really changed me all that much. I do find my shopping addiction has slightly gotten out of hand though

Reflections

It's one of those times in my life where I sit and stare out the window watching the clouds float by and wonder.....why?

This is one of those blog posts where I just blurt out what is on my mind and go all emo, so you've been warned. The pic above is a reflection of how I have been feeling lately. Scarred, bruised, hurt, unsure........

Have you ever given up everything....family, friends, work, house....life! and relocated to make someone else happy? It's an amazing feeling. Knowing that what you are doing for this other person is going to make their life much more happier.

I'm not one to usually take much notice to the saying "Too good to be true". Maybe I should have been a little more cautious. I know everyone has their own way of living, lifestyles, habits etc. But when one person gives up their life as they know it, is it too much to expect the other person make some small sacrifices?

I'm very transparent and most people will know exactly who and what this about. Normally I would be trying to hide these things or feel I should be careful of the other persons feelings. The last time I spoke to this person I told them to "Go away before I said something that would hurt". That was two days ago. And frankly, my mood at the moment, I really don't care.

I don't live the same way as other people - I may be cleaner, I may be messier, I may be quieter or I may be louder. The fact is we are all different. My sole purpose of giving up everything and moving was to make not only their life better but also my own in the process.

I can only do so much when someone refuses to stop hiding behind the crutch they have leaned on for so long and won't stop making excuses for themselves, and hiding behind the safety of a computer screen.

Most of my plurk friends know I am giving up my sim. I am doing this as a wake up call for someone. I am taking a break from SL. I'm taking a break from the computer in general. Only popping on now and then to clear out emails etc. My life exists outside of this 17inch screen. I may have no friends in that life, no family around me and no job to get me out of the house from 9 - 5 each day. But I make do with what I have and I will not hide behind the screen for the rest of my life. I only wish that the one person that means the most to me would wake up and realise this before it's too late.

Lost...

...Lost in your heart, lost in your eyes
Lost every day, no map to follow
Entire days, weeks, a blur
Flickers of light, in the darkness,
Only to be enveloped in shadows once more...
~Peter Winstanley

I've never felt unrequited affection/lust. Well not until now. I've heard many a story from friends and acquaintances, of relationships forming from the basis of friendships that turned romantic; best friends finally realising they were meant to be together.

I have never looked at my friends that way... Until I met you.

You light up my night. Fill my dreams with your passion. Make my days seem endless with laughter. I know that you see the look in my eyes when I glance at you. You hear my voice skip and stutter when I talk to you. Feel my body close to yours as we sit and laugh about the day. I also know that what I feel for you will never be returned to me.

You've walked a different path recently and our paths haven't crossed for sometime. I haven't stopped thinking about you though. Still laying under the stars at night smiling to myself as I remember funny things you said to me. Waking in the morning with you on my mind. I miss you.

I sit and cuddle my teddy bear wishing it were you I was cuddling. I once told you how I felt and laughed it off as a silly joke, hiding my insecurities behind my humour once more. I have you in my life as a friend and I curl up at night; snuggled up with my teddy bear knowing that our friendship means the world to me. Do I want more than our friendship? Yes. I want you.

I will go to sleep tonight dreaming and wishing on the stars that one day our friendship would cross those boundaries. Dreams do come true....right?

Ask me why I keep on wanting you when it's clear that you don't feel the same way for me... the problem is that as much as I can't force you to want me, I can't force myself to stop wanting you. ~Author Unknown

National Day Of Silence

On the National Day of Silence hundreds of thousands of students nationwide take a vow of silence to bring attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in their schools. I am no longer a student but I stand up in support of those students.

The Night Chauffeur

I am the one who watches you in rear vision mirrors. I am the voyeur. I am paid to watch.

Slowly through the night you slide up and down your seat, your sex wild for sultry male strangers to be your mobile bedfellows, women too; for their soft flesh.

Men see your sex and rush to enter, success delayed by your teasing ways.

Around with your tongue, the round curves of a curvaceous sex kitten meowing out loud.

Arouse but do not reveal your shroud until their tongue surround your sex and you cry out loud.

Panting!...
Screaming!...
Wanting!...
Craving!...

Can't stop. The car refuelled. The pace quickens. One...Two...Three...Four. Welcome another through the door. Five...Six...Seven...Eight. Until it's light, it's never too late.

You are like a wolf. The wolf and the sex kitten.

Pump!...
Thrust!...
Crave!...
Lust!...

Slowly you begin to move your hips in a smooth rocking movement, caressing his hardness with your sex, all silky and wet.

You slither up and down, slowly at first and then faster...faster...again...again. Rising up almost pulling yourself off of him before plunging down on him, trapping him deep within you. Riding him wildly, matching each thrust to the motion of the bumps caused by the road.

Your hunger peaks and a scream tears from your throat.

Gently the passion seeps away and you lay entwined together; but not for long.

You smile up at him, gently touching his face with a cool, elegant hand. You reach up and give him a moist, lingering kiss before we drive off once again. Leaving only his scent and the memories of a passionate encounter upon the upholstery.
